In such litigation Nichia claims the defendant violated the U.S. Patent No. 9490411st, issued and may apply to the court for an injunction, prohibiting the defendant from selling and distribution of infringing products, and to claim damages.

Details: January 10, 2017, Nichia issued a press release pointed out that the German court Dusseldorf appeal in December 22, 2016 two trial (case No. I-15U31/14), and identified billion light German subsidiary Everlight Electronics Europe GmbH 6 white LED against Nichia YAG (European patent patent No. EP0936682, Germany No. DE69702929.).
