June's TV panel monthly shipments for the first time exceeded 300 thousand

AU Optronics announced before the 2005 June consolidated revenues of NT $15 billion 954 million, compared with May increased by 3.7%, with the same period in 2004 increased by 0.5%.

AU Optronics said in the large-size panel, overall shipments in June and May to maintain a considerable level of approximately 2 million 370 thousand. But because of the six generation of factory capacity investment, making AUO LCD TV panels in a single month has shipped more than 300 thousand pieces, including shipments 32 inches has reached more than 75 thousand. Small and medium size shipments decreased by about 7.3% compared to May, up to 3 million 680 thousand.

AUO data show that the total size of the second quarter shipments amounted to about 7 million 40 thousand, an increase of about 16.6% over the first quarter; second quarter shipments of small and medium size is about 11 million 830 thousand, compared with the first quarter increased by about 36.9%. Both shipments have reached the first quarter of the second quarter of this year, when the release of the forecast target.
