LED as UFO! Blind or too like?

Designer Ingo Maurer is a German light designer and the poet of light. Following the previously reported street lights, the Ingo Maurer, who claims to be the "of light", brings his own street lights, Guddevol (a pleasant journey to Luxemburg).

The dim light can stimulate people's imagination, the lighting area is just like a stage, the children can sing and dance in the play, any fun. Lights also create a special sense of community, attract a group of adults, sit down to chat, enjoy pleasure, and promote people to communicate with each other, which is the inspiration of the street lamp design. Guddevol first introduced Luxemburg in 2014 and plans to install more streetlights in the city centre in 2016, official reports said.

Guddevol street lights are disc shaped, similar to UFOs (UFO). It consists of five large round lights, the entire round lamp diameter of about 420cm, the center left an opening. A LED light is embedded at the opening of the curve, and a circle of light illuminates the surface of the disk to form a white ring. The round lamp is supported by three fine frames, and maintains a certain inclination angle with the ground. It is full of artistic conception.

"The Guddevol is carefully designed to illuminate the ground, while avoiding the upward dispersion of lights," the designer said.
