LED based ultra fast WiFi for the development of laser short board in the United States

Now, American scientists have solved the problem, for the first time they developed a laser that can make white light. The researchers say that white light lasers are brighter and more efficient than light emitting diodes (LED), and will play an important role in lighting and wireless communications in the future.

The team led by Ning Cunzheng (transliteration) of the school of electronics, computer and energy engineering at the Arizona State University has developed a novel nanoscale sheet. The size of the thin semiconductor is only 1/5 of the hair, with a thickness of only 1/1000 of the thickness of the hair. It has three parallel parts. Each part can produce a laser in a color of red, blue and green colors. The whole device can emit all visible light lasers, from red to green to blue, or in any color between the two, and when the three primes "meet", a white laser appears.

The latest research has made a step forward by laser instead of LED as the main source of the light source. The laser is brighter, more efficient and can provide more accurate and vivid display colors that can be used on computer and television screens. Researchers have also confirmed that their new devices can produce 70% more colors than the current display industry standards.

Another important application of the study will be the field of visible light communication, and future indoor lighting systems may also be used for communication. The technology now being developed by scientists is called "Li-Fi" (that is, visible light wireless communication, using fast light pulses to transmit information). And now the "Wi-Fi" is using radio waves. Li-Fi can be more than 10 times as fast as Wi-Fi, while the white laser Wi-Fi may be more than 10 to 100 times more than 10 to 100 of the LED based Li-Fi currently being developed.

Although this concept is very important, it is still a big obstacle to apply the white light laser to the lighting or display system in real life. The next key is to get the same white laser under the battery's drive, the researchers say. As far as the present demonstration is concerned, the researchers have to use a laser to make the electron light. The latest experiment will pave the way for the final white laser under electrical operation.

White light laser is not a newborns, it is of great use in color display, special lighting, surgical diagnosis and white light interference experiment. But a "holistic" white laser has never been invented. Once a long time, the solution to this problem was to use several independent lasers to produce the original color. At the same time, a laser can output red and green three primary colors at the same time, which reduces unnecessary huge devices, saves the difficulty of optical coaxial, and saves the cost. Although there is still a little distance between the device and the actual application, the first concept of success is still not underestimated.
