According to official reports, Guddevol introduced Luxemburg for the first time in 2014, and plans to install more street lights in the center of the city in 2016.

The Guddevol street lamp is the shape of the disc, similar to the unidentified flying object (UFO). It consists of five large round lamps, with a round light of about 420cm and an opening at the center. A LED lamp is inlaid at the opening of the curve. A circle of lights illuminates the surface of the disc and forms a white ring. The round lamp is supported by three slender frames, and it keeps a certain angle of inclination with the ground, and is full of artistic beauty.

"Guddevol is carefully designed to be specially illuminated on the ground and can avoid the spread of lights upwards," the designer said.
