LED lighting prices fear pressure, 100 million light will be "eight character trick" response

According to reports, Ye Yinfu, chairman of the Taiwan LED packaging plant, said yesterday (30) that the trade frictions between the US and China continued to burn. Ye Yinfu said that trade frictions between the US and China will not cool down. The United States will impose high tariffs on LED related components made in China and Chinese brands. In recent years, the global LED lighting market has been dominated by the largest producer of China. If the LED lighting capacity originally exported to the US is affected by the trade war, it will not be able to sell normally, and a large quantity of capacity will probably run away from the market outside the United States, so that the price of the LED lighting products that are originally in the doldrums will be faced with the pressure of reducing the price. The price is not optimistic.

From the perspective of Yi Guang itself, ye Yin said that at present, the light emitting parts from mainland China will be shipped to mainland China. The mainland assembly plant will ship the finished products to the United States. Therefore, billion light will still be subject to tariff effects. On the other hand, mainland manufacturers will be able to sell their products cheaply in the non US market after being restricted by tariff barriers. Grid causes stress.

At present, the proportion of billion light lighting has been reduced to 5-6%. Ye Yinfu said that at present there is no way to predict what changes will take place in the market. However, billion light will respond to the "red letter order" and "black word shipment", that is to say, the price is low and competitive, and then the cost will be cut down through manufacturing and other links to deliver to customers at competitive prices. At the same time, achieve the profit target.

Ye Yinfu said that the Mini LED will start shipping in the fourth quarter of this year. The initial Mini LED will be used in backlight products. The field of lock is in the mobile phone and vehicle market. Among them, the car market is mainly based on the high level products of the dashboard backlight, and the proportion will not be very large in the early stage, but it will develop after promising.

In addition to the Mini LED's entry into the vehicle market, Ye Yinfu also stressed that the rest of the products will increase significantly in the automotive market this year. There will be lights and headlights, brake lights and so on.
