Zhuang Yuanping LED estimates that the market size will exceed 800 billion NT dollars this year, mainly used for NT $630 billion, accounted for 1/3 of the value of backlight lighting; reduce, the next 3 years and 3 to 5% cars annually to maintain about 6% decline; growth; mobile devices, outdoor boards was flat, Zhuang Yuanping said LED, industry compound annual growth rate of about 5%, but the entire LED industry are very hard.

Zhuang Yuanping optimistic about automotive applications, whether visible or infrared LED, play important roles in electric vehicles, unmanned vehicles, but the past attention dominated by European and American manufacturers, manufacturers in Taiwan is an opportunity, but also not easy to work.

Zhuang Yuanping believes that the LED industry can still develop in the next ten years in the industry, for example, the brightness of blue light in 1998 even the naked eye can not see clearly, now has been applied in the lighting brightness, the evolution of technology and new applications will expand the development space of LED, Taiwan, manufacturers must re adjust the position in the LED industry, enter the transition stage, the only way to enter the next ten years.

Zhuang Yuanping also said that the OLED application will replace the LCD panel, the LED backlight will affect the LED epitaxial package, there is still overcapacity pressure at present, the new application of continuous innovation, each manufacturer has to face, if it would be an opportunity for transformation.
