LED package price increases, in April the global LED light bulb prices slowed down

Dramexchange consulting LED Research Center (LEDinside) latest price report pointed out that in April 2017, the global LED bulb prices steady, replace the 40 watt incandescent bulb LED retail price rose 0.2% to $6.6; to replace 60 watt incandescent bulb LED, retail price fell 0.2% to $8.1.

LEDinside analyst Yu Bin said that the April LED package prices, especially the 2835 LED lighting products, the average price of international companies were raised, which makes the downstream LED bulb price drop speed slowed, the long term, the global LED bulb price will still show a slow downward trend.

LED packaging in China, 2835 LED products of 0.2 watts and a price of up to 0.5 watts were up, respectively, up to 3.4% and 3.9%. The manufacturer mainly in Chinese, Chinese and Taiwan based manufacturers, and the recent international manufacturers have launched and perfect the 2835 product lines, such as Lumileds and 2835C have introduced high efficiency light effect 2835E series, launched this year and continue to apply to the 3V EA linear lamp series, prices are higher than the market price. While the 3030 and 5630 LED products, April prices remained stable.

Bulb, replace 40 Watt, the euro area price is slightly increased, the UK prices 1%, most product prices steady, only slightly raised the prices of some products, such as the OSRAM 6 watt bulb 470 lumens, prices rose to $5.59, or 5%.

German prices rose 0.8%, prices fell 0.4% in the United States, mainland Chinese prices fell 3.2%, some manufacturers take the price means to seize market share, such as the FSL 7 watt bulb 550 lumens, the price fell to $3.5, a decline of 32%, other manufacturers including PHILPS, three and other manufacturers, the price of some products also showed a larger decline.

Instead of 60 watts, Europe and the United States market prices slightly lower, while the Asian region prices have risen. Among them, the British regional prices fell 2%, including Sylvania, PHILPS and other well-known manufacturers to cut prices on some products. German regional prices fell 3.2%, some products in the promotional activities, the price fell significantly.

In addition, OSRAM listed in April a new low-cost, 7.2 watts 806 lumens bulb, the price of $5.8, lower than the market price of 25%. In Asia, Japan area prices rose 2.2%, some products such as iRIS and Europe 810 lumens 7 watt bulb, prices rose to $12.73, rose 20%.
