LED people look over: the United States more stringent implementation of the importer's declaration of safety requirements

Since June 30th this year, the United States will be more stringent implementation of the importer's declaration of safety (Importer Security Filing) regulations. According to the Importer Security Filing regulations, importers and cargo carrier must be in the goods loaded on ships bound for the United States Customs, submit more information on the goods. Unless exempted, the importer must provide the following 10:

seller

The name and address of the entity that eventually distributes or agrees to sell the product. If the product is not imported for the execution of the purchase agreement, the owner's name and address must be declared, and the identification number, which can be recognized by the business community, instead of the name and address.

Buyers

The name and address of the entity to which the product is finally sold or agreed to be sold. If the product is not imported for the execution of the purchase agreement, the owner's name and address must be declared, and the identification number, which can be recognized by the business community, instead of the name and address.

The customs registration number of the importer / foreign trade zone

The tax bureau number, employer identification number, social security number or the number assigned by the customs and border protection authority for all customs duties and statutory requirements. The name of the country where the product is manufactured, produced or cultivated.

Harmonized tariff system number

This number is used as the tariff / statistics report number. 6 digit number shall be provided, up to a maximum of 10 digits.

The place where the goods are loaded into the cabinet

The name and address of the place where the goods are loaded into the cabinet. As for bulk cargo, the name and address of the specific place where the goods are ready for shipment shall be provided. If there is a widely recognized identification number, it can be used instead of the name and address.

Cargo carrier

The name and address of the person who has placed the goods in a container or arranged to load the goods into the container. In the case of bulk cargo, the name and address of the person to whom the goods are ready for shipment or to arrange for the loading of the goods shall be provided. If there is a widely recognized identification number, it can be used instead of the name and address.

The above information shall be filed at least 24 hours prior to the shipment of the goods at the port of foreign country, except that the information about the place of packing of the goods and the packing of the goods is exceptional, and shall be declared for at least 24 hours prior to the arrival of the goods at the port of the United states.
