All the lighting projects will be completed in 2016. The lighting scheme will be divided into a quiet and elegant basic mode, as well as a variety of thematic models such as Jingchu charm, space-time windows, international communication and so on. Through interactive lighting, building projection and electronic fireworks display, visitors will be invited to participate in the interactive lighting.

Wan Yong said that after further improving the planning scheme, we should intensify implementation of the lighting project. The basic lighting mode should be extensive, elegant, and pleasant to the eye. It is known as the four river and the Wuhan coastal landscape. The theme lighting mode should highlight the theme, impact the visual and exciting, and further refine the unique elements of Wuhan's water, bridges, ships and personality buildings. He asked the plan to focus on 9 aspects: moderately extending the scope of Liangjiang lighting, setting up a transition zone to avoid sudden changes in light and shade. According to the relationship between architectural form, style, location and environment, it is decided to adopt lattice or floodlit LED; further improve the greening and lighting scheme, make it moderately elegant; control the lighting design of the roof of the coastal area and avoid messy; in the performance of brightening colors, make use of less color lines; carefully set the standard. The scenic spot and the lighting sculpture beside the building will not destroy the overall lighting effect of the landscape at night, and carefully implement the coloured drawing of bridge pier.
