Luminus launches PhlatLight (TM) LED product line

Luminus Devices announced the launch for small and micro display (including pocket projector, projection screen highlight intelligent and general lighting applications) new PhlatLight chipset design?. The new PhlatLight chipset consists of individually encapsulated red, green, and blue LED, each with a size of 5.4mm2. When the three chips are combined, the chip group can produce a white light with a luminous flux peak of 1400lm.

Luminus says its innovations in packaging, thermal management and optical coupling have led to a truly diverse set of products that allow solid state lighting sources to be used in areas not previously possible. PT54 is the latest example of the benefits from these innovations, which allows customers to complete very efficient engine design and produce high screen brightness.

Luminus PhlatLight LED technology is building a new standard of brightness of the pocket projector, compared with the traditional LED, the brightness of a single PT54 chipset is 10 times. Other advantages do not require preheating time can be activated (instant-on), wide color gamut and digital power management in order to optimize battery life and brightness.
