Macao civil service facilities installed LED energy saving

At the beginning of 2013, the civil administration of Macao carried out the energy saving plan for the LED lamp in the park and the rest area under the jurisdiction of the administration. It has achieved good results, reduced the energy and maintenance resources.

In view of the advantages of the LED lamp and the more mature technology, the LED lamp energy saving plan has been carried out in the beginning of last year. The purpose of this paper is to reduce the cost of manpower, time and zero parts for maintenance and maintenance, in addition to saving energy. The selected points include the pool and walk, Ho Hsien Park, the victorious garden and the Huashi ancient park, etc., and change the different LED lighting facilities according to the actual situation of the pilot location, the surrounding environment and so on.

Power saving 30% to 75%

In May last year, the Department of Civil Affairs completed the improvement of the lighting improvement project in the walk of the pond. A total of fifty sets of lamp headlights of four meters high 60W were installed to enhance the brightness and radiation range of the section, and six large lamp posts were closed to a total of 24 (each 250W) lamp to improve the energy saving effect. After the improvement of the project, the total energy consumption decreased by 53% over the previous year after the analysis of the data. He completed the lighting improvement project in July last year. The park was replaced by a total of eighty sets of four meters high 30W LED garden type lamp post in the park; the total energy consumption was reduced by 31.4% compared with the previous year. The victorious garden and Huashi ancient park also changed fourteen sets and 28 sets of LED garden type lamp posts for 30W in February this year. The first five months have saved 43.4% and 57%. In addition, the lighting of the pedestrian tunnel connecting Hong Kong, Macao and parking lots and the parking lot of the lower ring street market is replaced by the 18W LED light tube, and the electricity saving rate is also 50% to 75%.

Good operation and little failure

The energy saving and improvement plan of the above lighting system is ideal, in addition to reducing the power consumption, the use of lamps and lanterns after the improvement works well, the vast majority of the failures have not occurred, reflecting the stability and credibility of the LED lamps and lanterns, greatly reducing the time and cost of maintenance. In the future, the Department will gradually improve and optimize its facilities for the use of the public according to the effectiveness of the sub programme, as well as the effect of energy conservation and environmental protection.
