Macroblock launches new LED driver for building lighting

Macroblock recently for LED building lighting applications, the introduction of the new 40V built-in PWM three channel constant current LED driver MBI6030. The assembly is particularly suitable for LED building lighting, LED curtain lights, LED lights, LED signs advertising words and LED neon lights and other applications. In two RGB LED pixel spacing of 2 meters, MBI6030 can be connected in series more than 250 RGB LED pixels; and frequency conditions in 4MHz low, still can show the effect of a 16 bit grayscale; these features make MBI6030 to support a longer transmission distance, also let RGB LED pixels at low frequency, reach color rich visual effects.

In the transmission, Macroblock transmission through the principle of token passing, designed a transmission interface innovation line two; MBI6030 is through the transmission mode of the image data automatic addressing, and accurately transmitted to each LED driver. In addition, MBI6030 provides frequency recovery functions to ensure long distance signal integrity after transmission. In terms of color performance, MBI6030 uses a unique collection of S-PWM technology to provide two gray scale models: including the 16 bit grayscale mode, as well as the gray level and the 10 bit correction mode of the 6. These two models provide a more detailed gray scale performance, while the latter model can reduce the bandwidth of data transmission in the same gray level performance. MBI6030 can support the constant current output range of 5mA to 150mA per channel, and the voltage up to 40V. Furthermore, the MBI6030 allows a wide input voltage range of 7V to 30V to support 12V and 24V power systems. In addition, the MBI6030 also has a built-in voltage regulator to support the 5V power system.
