NOKIA and China Telecom to join hands to build a new world 3G

Chunghwa Telecom today officially launched by NOKIA WCDMA 3G network advanced 3G services, more convenient 3G era.

NOKIA and Chunghwa Telecom started cooperation in 1999. In addition to the construction of China Telecom 3G responsible for WCDMA network equipment, NOKIA is also the partner of Chunghwa Telecom GPRS core network, multimedia information solutions and fixed ADSL high-speed Internet access system. As the exclusive supplier of Chunghwa Telecom 3G network, NOKIA has played a vital role in the successful launch of 3G services in China telecom.

As the exclusive network provider, NOKIA China Telecom provides 3G core network and wireless access network device includes a wireless network controller, UltraSite and MetroSite base station, and provide a wide range of operators and customer service. Chunghwa Telecom is one of the world's first users to implement the 3GPP R4 architecture.
