National Instruments two high-performance PXI controller

National Instruments Corporation (National Instruments) recently launched the two RT PXI NI PXI-8195 RT embedded controller and NI PXI-8196 RT. PXI-8196 RT is a high performance real-time controller, using 2.0GHz Intel Pentium M760 processor, the overall performance of the previous product increased by 18%. The PXI-8195 RT controller contains 1.5GHz Intel Celeron M370 processor. The two controller can provide reliable operation in extreme environments, NI LabVIEW Real-Time, is suitable for industrial control, industrial test, ATE and military / aerospace in the field of mechanical control, reliable test and simulation based on HIL.

The two controllers provide a capacity of up to 2GB dual channel DDR2 memory, as well as Gigabit Ethernet function, compared with the previous real-time PXI controller with double storage capacity and performance. The controller also has an optional solid-state hard disk.

PXI-8196 RT and PXI-8195 RT controller integrates many peripherals, such as hard disk, GPIB, serial port and ethernet. The embedded controller supports NI and three party PXI and CompactPCI devices, and pre installed NI LabVIEW Real-Time embedded software.
