The textile associate Chen Hongen said that in 2008 the textile finish prototype, 2009 will be officially LED wrapped in yarn, and the first application in the bride dress.

Chen Hongen pointed out that LED wrapped in yarn is flat with a commercially available mercury battery as power source, power depletion to replace battery, LED light source package of textiles is still not made personal clothing, to make coats, so for environmental protection cleaning personnel, on the road, outdoor activities need a bicycle or motorcycle driver is favorable.

Chen Hongen said, in addition to the application of security on the outside, even the European clubs women wearing LED light bra, quite attractive, also can be used in a variety of ornaments, bracelets, bags, Home Furnishing lighting, the application scope is extremely broad.

The results will be handed over to the island's design company to develop a special application, displayed in the upcoming World Expo in Shanghai, Taiwan pavilion. Chen Hongen said, when the Taiwan Textile Institute will lead a delegation to World Expo to learn all the latest research results, as the update application of textile and LED light source, but also to participate in the development of future world grand prix.
