Nichia four manufacturers in the United States accused of infringement on the list and VIZIO

The Japanese LED maker Nichia (Nichia) pointed out that foreign, has filed four patent infringement litigation in the United States east Dezhou Federal District Court on December 27, 2016, the defendant respectively against including LCD TV and LED lighting manufacturers:

(1) LCD TV distributor TTETechnology, Inc. and its parent company TCLMultimediaTechnologyHoldingsLimited, which is a manufacturer of LCD TV in china;

(2) LCD TV maker VIZIO, Inc;

(3) LED lighting and other products of the United States retailer Lowe '(Lowe''''''''s), and its relationship with the enterprise LGSourcing, Inc., which is the U.S. distributor;

(4) LED lighting manufacturers and distributors in the United States FeitElectricCompany, Inc.

In such litigation Nichia claims the defendant violated the U.S. Patent No. 9490411st, issued and may apply to the court for an injunction, prohibiting the defendant from selling and distribution of infringing products, and to claim damages.

Nichia reiterated that the company will spare no effort to seek the protection of patents and other intellectual property rights, and where appropriate and necessary, in any country to take legal action against the infringer.
