OLED panel technology breakthroughs in Japanese manufacturing costs down 1/10

Nikkei News reported on 26, the Japanese Yamagata University Professor Ren Jingshi, has successfully developed a set of printing by way of making OLED panel driving device (transistor) new technology.

The report pointed out that by using this new technology, just as a combination of organic compounds and plastic panel luminescence, OLED panel can also be carried out by the production of printing technology, so the manufacturing cost can be reduced to the current 1/10 OLED panel. According to reports, the new technology will today (26), held in Yokohama City, the Chemical Society of Japan published, and plans to complete the test works in 5 years.

It is understood that has been applied to a large size OLED panel TV is mainly used in the manufacture of silicon transistors, and electrode required in high temperature, so it takes a lot of power, and the panel must also use high temperature resistant glass products; however, when the new technology developed by Professor Shi Jing in addition to need to make use of electrodes at high temperature, the panel also need not use glass products.
