OSD portable devices with TFT monitors comply with ROHS requirements

One Stop Displays (OSD)'s new 3.5 inch portrait mode QVGA transmission TFT display OSDT035STED4 to meet the ROHS requirements, suitable for mobile phone, PDA and large capacity handheld devices and other portable devices. The new OSDT035STED4 includes an integrated touch screen and a white LED backlight.

The effective size of OSDT035STED4 is 53.28 (H) * (V) mm, the overall size of the 262K (H) x 87.1 (V) x () mm (T), can provide a 6 color display. The power consumption of the entire module including LED backlight is less than 400mW. When the LED backlight is turned off and operates in reverse mode, its power consumption is reduced to less than 30mW.

Due to the use of advanced low temperature manufacturing process, the new display power consumption is lower, the pixel density is higher, the pixel aperture ratio is higher than the usual high temperature amorphous silicon (a-Si) TFT display. In addition, the glass cladding package (COG) structure allows the IC to be mounted directly on the LCD panel, thereby reducing the total number of components and mechanical dimensions.
