OSRAM Bulgaria new factory opened, a total investment of 25 million euros

In October 19th, OSRAM opened a new factory in Bulgaria has been officially put into operation. The new OSRAM factory located in Bulgaria the millennium city center is located in Belgrade - Plovdiv to Istanbul railway, which makes it directly into the European market the major portal traffic arteries.

The factory produced products including the use of LED light engine module, traditional ballast, LED driver, sensor and lighting control system will be used in intelligent building, and for the European market for sale. The new factory started on March 2016, a total investment of about 25 million euros (about 195 million yuan). OSRAM digital lighting system belongs to the factory responsible for the development, production and sales of electronic accessories and lighting system, is also a part of OSRAM's digital strategy.

OSRAM lighting company CTO Stefan Kampmann said: "we are very pleased to announce the new plant put into operation in Plovdiv. This factory can help OSRAM meet intelligent or smart city for digital lighting solutions for the growing demand."
