OSRAM SMT LED phone turned projector

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (OSRAM Opto Semiconductors) OSTAR Projection LED recently successfully with surface mount technology (SMT) perfect combination, the launch of the new OSTAR Projection SMT LED, the appearance of compact, high luminous efficiency, all products are far more than before. The SMT LED can be integrated into the phone's ultra micro projector, so that the phone body into a projector. The new OSTAR Projection LED shape size is only 5.8 x 4.7 x 1.5 mm, compared with the previous product, no longer need to attach a connector or heat sink. As a result, this mini LED is designed to be particularly compact in design space, and is ideal for ultra micro projectors. These projectors can be integrated directly into the phone, can also be used as a mobile phone accessories. Due to the use of SMT technology, the new OSTAR Projection LED is suitable for standard welding process.

An ultra micro projector requires only one OSTAR module. The module is packaged with 2 green, 1 red and 1 Blue mm2 chips with a total of 4 sizes of 1 RGB. In addition to the RGB version, the OSTAR Projection LED SMT also provides a package of 4 ultra bright white chip versions. According to the color needs, these chips using thin film technology or ThinGaN technology, can achieve the best luminous efficiency. The chip is closely connected with the protective diode on the ceramic carrier, and a single glass window provides shielding and protection. Embedded Pico projectors with built-in Mini LED, external size of 1.5 cm * 3 cm, the power consumption is 1 W system up to 10 lumens; as a super mini projector accessories external size is 7.5 cm * 7.5 cm, can operate in a high wattage power, so it can provide higher more than 15 lumens. OSTAR PROJECTION LED has now launched the sample, is expected to be put into mass production this fall.
