OSRAM appointed GUNNAR EBERHARDT (China) as president of China, concurrently chief executive officer

In August 1, 2017, Shanghai - OSRAM announced today that Gunnar Eberhardt () will serve as president and chief executive officer of OSRAM China, which will enter into force on August 1, 2017.

Gunnar Eberhardt is an experienced enterprise executive with over 15 years of experience in the field of special lighting. Gunnar Eberhardt will serve as president and CEO of OSRAM China, to further lead the company's corporate management, operations and business development in the Chinese market.

Prior to his appointment, Gunnar Eberhardt served as CEO of OSRAM's OSRAM Specialty Lighting in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, Gunnar Eberhardt served as a senior executive and regional head of the special lighting department, which was responsible for business in Latin America, the Middle East and africa. Gunnar Eberhardt joined OSRAM in 2002. In his subsequent career, he has held multiple positions in the corporate and marketing sectors and has been promoted continuously.
