OSRAM has appointed GUNNAR EBERHARDT (Gunnar) CEO concurrently as president of Chinese

In August 1, 2017, Shanghai OSRAM announced today that Gunnar Eberhardt (Gunnar) will serve as OSRAM Chinese president and chief executive officer, the official appointment will take effect on August 1, 2017.

Gunnar Eberhardt is an experienced business executives, has more than 15 years of working experience in the field of special lighting. Gunnar Eberhardt will serve as president of OSRAM Chinese district and chief executive, further lead the company in Chinese market company management, operations and business development.

"Chinese lighting market is one of the most rapidly developing countries, I hope to better plan and execute our strategy, lead us into a new chapter," said Eberhardt Gunnar. "Our team has developed to lay a good foundation, we will further strengthen the ability to grasp the opportunity in front of, and further improve we provide to customers and market value of products."

Before this role, Gunnar Eberhardt served as OSRAM Asia Pacific special lighting department (OSRAM Specialty Lighting) ceo. Before that, Gunnar Eberhardt also served as senior director of special lighting department and the person in charge, responsible for doing business in Latin America, the Middle East and africa. Gunnar Eberhardt joined OSRAM in 2002. After a career, he held several positions in the business and marketing departments, and continue to get promoted.

Gunnar Eberhardt with the German city of Kempten technology and Business University (University of & Technology Business) a master's degree in industrial engineering, and the University of Vorarlberg (University of Vorarlberg) Master's degree of innovation of technology and management.
