PHILPS access to Taiwan's first LED bulb CNS certification

Environmental protection and energy issues popular, driven by LED lighting market. Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs Bureau of standards inspection LED lighting products CNS compulsory certification system, in July 1st officially on the road.

The day before, PHILPS announced on July 3rd Taiwan Inspection Bureau issued the first batch of "standard ballast built-in LED lamp CNS certification". PHILPS pointed out that the general type LED bulb lamp through the electrical safety performance (CNS15436), (CNS15630), electromagnetic compatibility (CNS14115) of 3 large projects, including consumers pay more attention to the biological safety inspection (CNS15592). Among them, the "bio safety" is for the LED light source for the human eye, skin and other biological organs of the test and risk assessment of the disease, which is the focus of blue light detection.

As a matter of fact, since July 1st, the CNS has been required to provide for all imported and new LED bulbs to be sold on the Internet, and the correctness of the packaging information is also subject to supervision.
