LED vertical integration plant Longda announced its third quarter earnings this year, benefiting from the combination of product mix, gross margin rose to 17.4%, basic earnings per share (EPS) 0.22 yuan (NTD, the same below), for two consecutive quarters of profits.

In the third quarter of this year, the combined revenue of 3 billion 7 million yuan was 0.8% yuan, an annual decrease of 5%, while the gross profit margin was 17.4%. The gross profit margin increased by 2.6 percentage points, increased by 1.9 percentage points a year, 110 million yuan after tax, 120% 120% per year, 162% yuan per year, and a basic earnings per share of 0.22 yuan.

Longda said that in the third quarter of this year, because of the traditional peak season, coupled with the advance of the finished products in the third quarter, the revenue grew, and the adjustment of the product mix was more healthy. The gross profit margin in the third quarter was higher than that in the first two quarters and the same period last year. At present, the Chuzhou plant is pulling up production capacity. It is expected that all production capacity will be opened before the end of this year. It is expected that production efficiency will be improved and comprehensive effect will be achieved next year.

In the product part, the Mini LED (sub millimeter light emitting diode) backlight used by Longda displays has been produced and shipped for the first time. It has been applied to high-order pen, electronic competition screen and vehicle panel. The small spacing display LED product has been cooperated with customers to develop and apply to commercial public display. Stage lighting, building lighting, plant lighting and so on.

In the field of apex photoelectric applications, Longda VCSEL (vertical resonant cavity surface emitting laser) components have been developed and imported into the mobile phone factory by third Ji Shunli, which can be applied to face 3D recognition, AR and VR. IR (infrared) products have been shipped to internationally renowned SPORTS BRACELET brands.

Longda said that in the field of automotive applications, vehicle lighting components have been shipped to the domestic first line motor car brand and the famous European heavy machinery, showing that Longda vehicle LED has been bearing fruit in the ploughing car market.
