ROHM successfully developed a high power LED driver module for lighting

ROHM recently developed an insulated LED driver module, this product is the most suitable for the use of LED to do performance lighting, landscape lighting, residential lighting, lighting facilities, disaster prevention lighting and other LED lighting appliances.

This new product has begun to supply samples from March 2007 (sample price of about 123.6 yuan / Branch); BP5843 type products started mass production from May, 50 thousand per month; prior to September there are 3 other types of products to start mass production. In the production process of ROHM Corporation amaki (Shizuoka), ROHM ELECTRONICS DALIAN CO. LTD. (China Dalian) completed.

In recent years, in terms of lighting equipment, the use of low power consumption long life LED instead of the original fluorescent lamp, incandescent light up. LED is being used in traffic signal lights, embedded in the ceiling of the ceiling lamp, spotlight, LED light guide and many other uses.

As a result, ROHM developed in the previous AC/DC converter based on the technology, using the most suitable for driving LED constant current circuit, developed a leading industry LED driver module. High efficiency and high precision can be achieved by minimizing the loss of current detection circuit.

Moreover, because the control circuit, the switching element, the transformer and the constant current circuit in the switching power supply are all included in the 1 packages, only a few external components can be used to form a power supply circuit.
