Reluctant to replace LED lighting, the "worst shop in Britain" is closed.

According to foreign media reports, the "worst - lit store in Britain" is about to be closed.

The store is one of the 31 stores that will be closed under the House of Fraser, a British 100 year old store, as part of the House of Fraser, a Rackhams department store in UK, North Yorkshire.

In recent years, the store has been criticized by lighting professionals because of the poor lighting in the store. Lighting professionals have criticised the store for poor lighting, aging of lamps and lanterns, bare wires, and confusion of light sources. As a result, Rackhams is called "the worst shop in Britain".

Closing the store is part of the CVA (Company Voluntary Arrangement) proposed by the FFL department store, which needs to be approved by the creditor and is to be decided in June 22nd.

Frank Slevin, chairman of House of Fraser, told the press: "there is a fundamental change in the retail industry, and FFL urgently needs to adapt to this fast changing situation to create the future and make it flourishing."

As the retail industry is responding to the rapid rise of online shopping, FFL is one of the many high-end brands that announced the closure this year.

Although the flagship stores are still equipped with an interior decoration that emphasizes the shopping experience, the so-called traditional stores like Rackhams may lack investment.

Some retailers such as Rackhams have postponed lighting upgrades to save money, retained outdated lighting such as traditional fluorescent lamps and halogen lamps, rather than investing in energy-efficient LED lighting. (Editor: LED network James)
