SHARP released LED street lamp solution: with a lens focused on the road surface

SHARP as a light source for the LED street lamp new products, released 10 models equipped with solar cells, such as LED lights. The LED lighting and the biggest feature is to prevent the lamp is equipped with a lens for each LED chip. The lens adopts the structure of concave lens and convex lens, which increases the illumination range of the LED light on the road surface. Compared with the original lamp, the setting interval can be increased. When using the same 40W mercury lamp as a street lamp, set the interval of 12M, and the use of solar cells with LED lighting "LN-LX1" (Figure 1), set the interval can be increased to 32m. Only 32 new light sets per kilometer, compared with the use of 84 40W mercury lamp as a street lamp, the reduction rate of up to 62%, an annual reduction of about $290 thousand yen.

This time, the company uses the lens (Figure 2) uses the LED chip on the concave lens (Figure 3), above the overlapping convex lens (Figure 4) structure. The concave lens can make the light transverse scattering, and the convex lens can gather light radiation. So, in the closed road width at the same time, the radiation from a distant (5 ~ 7). While the original LED lighting can only be located below the center of the light scattering.

The lens design and manufacturing technology developed by SHARP's R & D department. In particular, the optical design technology accumulated in the first laser field and the injection molding technology for the rapid and rapid cooling of the metal mold are adopted. The company stressed that due to the injection of acrylic resin when the temperature is very high, so it can be achieved without wrinkles and high gloss resin molding.

The injection molding technology is applied to the development of LCD TV "AQUOS" fuselage. The technique is used to achieve the same as the liquid crystal TV "AQUOS", which is called the "piano black", which is the same as that of the black piano.

In addition, compared with the company's original LED street lamp, the use of LED luminous efficiency increased by about 30%. On the reasons for the increase in luminous efficiency, the company revealed that the use of light output efficiency of the package. The brightness of the lamp is 1800 lumens, which is the highest level in the industry.
