SHARP will shut down Sanyuan LED plant to enhance its efficiency

According to Japanese media, Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry's SHARP is planning to shut down Sanyuan factory (Sanyuan City, Hiroshima prefecture) and move its business to Fushan factory (Fushan City, Hiroshima prefecture). The Sanyuan factory mainly produces LED and other electronic components, with about 300 employees. It is reported that after the factory closes, the employees will adjust their posts and continue to maintain employment. The operation of the plant will be moved to Fushan plant, which manufactures sensors. Sharp Co President Dai Zhengwu said in an open letter to his employees that he would strive to make profits in the second half of 2016. After joining Hon Hai in August, SHARP took some measures to improve business efficiency and achieved some results.
