SSL China 2016:LED industry is the new trend of MicroLED, laser, LiFi......

MicroLED

Laser illumination

LiFi

LiFiCentre compared to WiFi, LiFi using LED or laser has better transmission capability for sensing, warning or consumer preference data analysis. In LED technology, compared with the white light LED excited by phosphor, MicroLED and RGB laser have better optical transmission function, which can reach 10Gbps and 100Gbps, respectively. Lighting combined with wireless communications and handheld applications such as mobile phones and other lighting market to bring different opportunities for development. LiFi and visible light communications are expected to reach $115 billion in 2022.

VCSEL laser

With the car factory and sensor manufacturers actively develop automatic auxiliary driving system, is expected to 2030-2035, and Chinese will become the main use of state, then, VCSEL will become the main way of laser sensing, data transmission and market demand (Datacom), VCSEL manufacturers to actively expand production, the major manufacturers including Finisar, JDSU, Philips, Photonics Rohm, Lumentum, Hua Lijie etc..
