Samsung forecast 2008 global LCD revenue will reach $7 billion

He also predicted that the global demand for LCD panels will exceed supply in 2006. SDI vice president of Samsung Kim Ha-chul also said that the annual demand for the global plasma panel is expected to double. 2007 global demand for plasma panels will be expected to reach 7 million units from 2005 to grow to 15 million units. He said the plasma display panel prices fell by 40% in 2004. Due to the growth in demand, plasma display panel prices will remain stable in the coming quarters. It is reported that participate in the International Conference on the display industry from the United States, Japan, France, Germany, Sweden and China, Hongkong and other eight countries and regions of the 145 LCD manufacturers and related materials and components suppliers.
