Samsung plans to sell Chinese LED business, Hongkong private Holdings Company will take over

According to "Korea Herald" Beijing time June 19th reported that Samsung is considering China mainland LED Business Department of Tianjin Samsung LED Co. Ltd. - sold to a private Holdings Company in Hongkong China.

Samsung's sales include the LED packaging plant and facility site. Hongkong private Holdings Company is currently conducting due diligence.

South Korean media The Bell reported that, after the sale of mainland China LED business sector, Samsung is likely to conduct large-scale restructuring of the LED business.

Sales of Samsung's LED business have been weak in recent years, mainly because of competition from cheaper products from Chinese rivals. After it is sold, Samsung is expected to outsource the production of LED panels to other companies.

Experienced in the independent business profits a few years after the decline, LG group's parts manufacturer LG Innotek has recently started cooperation from the external manufacturer partners buy LED products.
