Seoul Metro and malls will use LED lights to run energy self-sufficiency plans

Nuclear power has always been a worldwide issue. Since the Japanese Fukushima nuclear disaster, the surrounding countries have paid more attention to the importance of nuclear energy security. In Seoul, the capital of South Korea, the "One Less Nuclear Power Plant" plan was launched in 2011, hoping to save electricity from the capital to achieve the purpose of nuclear waste in South Korea.

Seoul municipal government will start from many aspects, such as about 10 thousand roofs around the bronze finches and Mapu districts, all installed solar power board. And in accordance with the rate to reduce the housing tax, and in the subway and in the mall, the full use of intelligent induction LED lights, to save unnecessary waste, and to support green enterprises, create employment opportunities, more established by the civic oriented foundation, and the government units to monitor the increase and decrease of electricity consumption, and so on. It is to make Seoul a green city.

According to the statistics, although there is no nuclear power plant in Seoul, the electricity consumption is 10% of the country, so the Seoul municipal government will start to promote the plan of "one less nuclear power plant", and rely on the energy self-sufficiency to save electricity. In 2011, Seoul's energy self-sufficiency rate was 3%. As for the current rate of self-sufficiency in energy, it has grown to 6.4%, not much more than the target of 8% at the end of the year, while the Seoul municipal government is predicting a 20% self-sufficiency rate in 2020, and is now steadily moving forward to this goal, hoping to truly save the power of a nuclear power plant.
