Seoul semiconductor new P4 LED in the 1A current can reach 240 lumens

Seoul semiconductor Co. (Seoul Semiconductor Ltd.) recently announced the successful development and introduction of the world's brightest P4 LED lighting technology. P4 only single chip, in 1A (1 Amp) issued under 240 LM (LM) brightness, for the industry to create the most high brightness of 100 lm/W 350mA, compared with the traditional fluorescent lamp of 70 lm/W and 15 lm/W of traditional light brighter and more cost-effective.

Li Zhenxun, chief executive officer of Seoul semiconductor, said: "P4, in addition to the traditional bulbs and fluorescent lights, to provide another choice for lighting, for the industry to write a new page in history. Traditional LED lighting lighting technology to merge a few chips, in order to issue more than 100 LM brightness, while the development of the P4 semiconductor Seoul is the only single chip through the world, has been able to issue a 240 lm. "

Seoul semiconductor's patented and assembly technology enables P4 to provide the highest luminous momentum and excellent reliability characteristics that help cope with many of the barriers to heat treatment. The unique design of P4, can be widely used in the lighting industry, including automobiles, mobile phone flash, flashlight, LCD TV screen backlight, projector, household appliances, traffic lights, street lamps, building and decorative and general lighting etc..

Seoul semiconductor P4 technology, can be further developed into two categories can be applied to a wide range of products in different categories, respectively, 80 lm/W 350mA and 100 lm/W 350mA.

Seoul semiconductor is scheduled for 2007, will enhance the brightness of the P4 to 135 lm/W, and then in the first quarter of 2008 increased to 145 lm/W.
