In order to provide consistent color, the current LED design requires a series of complex calculations. At present, HB LED engineers are facing the two biggest problems, one is the need to consider different encoding (manufacturing bin) between the LED performance specifications; two is to reduce the performance of LED at different temperatures (such as light output wavelength, etc.). The use of PSoC Express, designers only need to select color from the screen color gamut. Pre installed production coding specifications and temperature feedback algorithms are automatically applied to the selected design and programmed into the EZ-Color controller. For complex designs, this can save weeks or even months of design time.

EZ-Color controller not only has the advantages of easy design, but also supports up to 16 LED channels, compared to similar competing products can only support four to five channels. The EZ-Color controller also uses the Plath PrISM patent (high precision lighting signal modulation) technology. PrISM modulation technology greatly reduces the low-frequency flicker and radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI), which is a common problem in the design of HB LED. Designers can also be flexible to the EZ-Color controller to add more features, such as battery charging, motor control and other features.
