Shanghai's transformation of Puxi Section of inner ring elevated street lights added 1834 sets of LED street lamps

The 20 years of the inner ring elevated West Pu section officially launched the street lighting transformation. The Shanghai urban construction Luqiao group will replace 1834 street lamps including lampposts, lamps and some base, on the elevated bridge about 29 kilometers from the bridge section of Nanpu West Bridge to the Zhou Jia Zui road. The new street lamp will adopt LED energy saving light source. It is expected that all the replacement will take more than a year.

Since the whole line opened to traffic in December 1994, after nearly 20 years of operation, the 10 meter single fork steel street lamp on the elevated platform has shown varying degrees of fatigue and even "disease". According to the previous investigation, the lamppost on the inner elevated surface has rusted surface due to oxidation, and the light transmittance of the lamp shade has been reduced due to aging, resulting in the decrease of light transmittance on the reflector surface of the lamp and the reduction of the reflection performance. It not only affects the lighting level of the road, but also wastes the electricity consumption. At the same time, the foundation of some street lamps and the connectors, such as bolts and nuts between the lamppost and the foundation, are aged, corroded or damaged, resulting in the hidden danger of the collapse of individual streetlights.

The new street lamp will adopt LED energy-saving light source and luminaire with the characteristics of less power consumption, high luminous efficiency and long service life, and the energy saving efficiency can reach 50%. The replacement of the new lamppost will be able to withstand the wind impact of the 12 stage.
