Shanxi recently introduced the new Shanxi accelerate the development of energy-saving environmental protection industry implementation plan, the next two years, the province will focus on promoting 15 energy-saving environmental protection projects. Million yuan GDP energy consumption should be reduced by about 3.5%

Strengthen policy guidance to support cleaner production

According to the Ministry of industry, the province will promote cleaner production of industrial enterprises, the annual reduction of 34 thousand and 600 tons of major pollutants.

According to reports, in order to strengthen the prevention and control of atmospheric pollution in industrial areas, promote regional atmospheric environmental quality improvement, the Ministry has formulated the "cleaner production level of key industrial enterprises in Tianjin and the surrounding area improvement plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "promotion plan"). Tianjin and surrounding areas, including Beijing City, Tianjin City, Hebei Province, Shanxi Province, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Shandong Province, is China's economic development in key areas, and it is also one of the pollutant emission of highly concentrated area.

Among them, the annual reduction in the amount of major pollutants in Shanxi should be: 5000 tons of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides of 11500 tons, smoke (powder) dust of 9300 tons, volatile organic compounds of 8800 tons.

In order to achieve the goal of reduction of major pollutants in Shanxi province in the iron and steel, coking, chemical industry, promote the use of advanced and mature for clean production technology and equipment, the implementation of cleaner production technology of industrial enterprises, effectively reduce the production and emission of atmospheric pollutants. Relevant departments will strengthen policy guidance and support, make full use of industrial transformation and upgrading, technological transformation and other special funds to support the clean production technology transformation, priority to support the project in line with the conditions.
