Shanxi province carries out special check on outdoor neon lights.

Shanxi daily news, on the morning of April 29th, Liu Jie, vice governor of Shanxi and director of the Provincial Public Security Bureau, chaired an emergency video conference. She learned lessons from the "4. 28" Jinzhong Lingshi Zhongkai coal building fire accident, and carried out outdoor advertising and neon light special inspection and rectification work. Provincial, municipal, and county level three comrades in charge of housing, public security, industry and commerce, electricity, security supervision and fire departments attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Bian Zhihui, deputy director of the Provincial Public Security Bureau, briefed on the "4. 28" fire situation in Zhongkai coal building, and carried out the deployment of outdoor advertising and neon light special inspection and rectification work from the aspects of hidden dangers, responsibility and publicity. Liu Jie stressed that first, outdoor advertising and neon light special inspection and rectification work should be taken as an important part of current safety management, and promptly organized and implemented. Two, housing construction, public security, industry and commerce, electric power, safety supervision, fire departments and other departments should take joint actions to dismantle outdoor advertisements and neon lights that do not meet safety requirements, and take decisive measures such as power outage and so on. Four, the relevant departments should take concerted efforts to form a joint effort, and deploy the capable force to conduct investigations from door to door, so as to eliminate hidden dangers.
