According to the "plan" requirements, through the implementation of demonstration projects, promote the Shenzhen Road, tunnel, subway, large public buildings in areas such as lighting product upgrading, and strive to 2012, Shenzhen main road lamp, tunnel lamp LED lighting reform basically completed, the new road tunnel lighting, all using LED lighting; Shenzhen subway station, car to achieve full LED lighting; by 2015, Shenzhen trunk road lamps LED lighting reform basically completed. The Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, the Universiade main stadium and the landmark building to create a distinctive feature of the LED lighting project in Shenzhen.

Through the implementation of demonstration projects, strongly promote the development of the city's LED related products and industries, and strive to 2010, the annual output value of Shenzhen LED industry reached 28 billion yuan; by 2015, the annual output value of Shenzhen LED industry reached more than 130 billion yuan.

For the development of LED industry, Shenzhen will integrate financial resources, increase financial support. Since 2009 for three consecutive years, in science and technology research and development, technological progress, intellectual property rights, standards and strategies to expand domestic and foreign markets and other special funds, the annual concentration of more than 100 million yuan earmarked to support the LED industry. Development of LED lighting products to promote financial subsidies to encourage units and individuals to choose energy-efficient LED lighting products.

Encourage Shenzhen enterprises to establish LED product R & D center, and provide public services for the industry to enhance the level of independent innovation.
