Shenzhen affordable housing or the first use of LED lighting

Shenzhen municipal government yesterday announced the "LED industry development plan in Shenzhen (2009 - 2015)" and other packages to promote the city's LED (light-emitting diode) industry development measures. Specifically, Shenzhen will focus on the annual 100 million yuan of special funds to support the development of semiconductor lighting industry, and through the implementation of the "demonstration project" to promote the city road, tunnel, subway, security housing, large public buildings in areas such as the upgrading of lighting products.

According to the communique, the Shenzhen municipal government since the beginning of this year for 3 consecutive years, will focus on financial support for the development of semiconductor lighting industry. Focus on supporting high-end semiconductor lighting industry in the development of core technology and terminal product sales and market development; the government administrative office supplies, government investment projects, the need to purchase the semiconductor lighting terminal products, will give priority to the procurement of products of local enterprises.

The people will be through the implementation of a semiconductor lighting demonstration project to feel the changes brought about by the upgrading of lighting.

Shenzhen will be in the municipal roads, highways, tunnels, public square, public underground space applications, construction of semiconductor lighting demonstration project; in the Universiade, rail transportation, affordable housing and government investment in new projects, semiconductor lighting technology will be applied with the combination of solar energy and wind energy; and the municipal renovation project Road and tunnel lighting system, will encourage the use of contract energy management for energy saving and application of semiconductor lighting products.
