At present, Guangdong Province, as the leader of the LED lighting enterprises have more than 2 thousand and 600, in 2009 the province's LED lighting and related industry output value reached 31 billion yuan, accounting for nearly half of the country's total output value of LED.

Guangdong LED lighting industry is the most concentrated in Shenzhen, Guangzhou. Shenzhen LED industry has developed rapidly, engaged in LED lighting technology and product research, development, production and application of enterprises has reached more than and 700, the upstream and downstream enterprises accounted for about 70% of the province. At present, Shenzhen has become the main production area of LED solar light the world's largest production and supply base, LED backlight major global production and supply base, LED display the largest production and supply base, LED packaging and LED lighting.
