Shenzhen municipal government to boost the development of LED lighting industry

In terms of technical support, the Shenzhen Institute of Metrology and quality inspection, industrial association to participate in the establishment of the Shenzhen LED industry standards alliance. At present, the alliance is actively cooperate with relevant government departments, for the detection of LED product energy efficiency alliance certification into one of the conditions to participate in government procurement, the use of policy oriented, with standard alliances and technology institutions as a platform to link, allow enterprises to show their skills in the market.

It is reported that in 2008 the size of the output value of Shenzhen LED industry has exceeded 18 billion yuan. According to the plan, by 2010, Shenzhen semiconductor lighting industry scale will reach an annual output value of 28 billion yuan, in 2015 more than 130 billion yuan output value, has become an important demonstration base of technological innovation of China's LED industry and an important global LED products R & D and production base.
