In 2014, the special funds used by Suzhou finance for urban lighting are expected to exceed 40 million yuan. It mainly involves the renovation of urban roads and new village lighting facilities, the renovation of old new village lighting facilities, lighting energy conservation, the upgrading of landscape lighting facilities, the transformation of street lamp control boxes, and the reconstruction of three remote terminal equipment.

The key items are: first, the city lighting "firefly" plan. Since July 2013, the "firefly" program of urban lighting has been officially launched to solve the public lighting problem of public areas without lights and lights in the common area of the common people in the District of Suzhou. As of May 31st this year, a total of 127 applications for the installation of street lamps were received. There were 172 sets of 69 copies in line with the installation conditions. Two is the palace lamp type road lamp overhaul project. This year, the 463 sets of street lamps in 6 roads, such as bamboo Hui Road, Xinshi Road, East Street, front street, parenting lane and Zhongjie Road, will be completed. Besides the new energy consumption index, the original energy saving lamp is changed into LED light source, and the sodium lamp ballast is changed into electronic ballast to make the palace lantern beautiful and reduce consumption according to the new energy consumption index. It is expected to be 134 thousand and 100 yuan after the reform.

Three is the renovation of the old new village lighting facilities. The old new village reform plan installs the street lamp 1544 sets, the light source is changed from the original 24 watts energy saving lamp to the 15 Watt LED light source, and is expected to complete the annual energy saving of 47 thousand yuan.

The four is the installation of the LED armrest lamp on the ramp of the south-east ring flyover. In order to improve the nocturnal lighting problem of the ramp on the south-east ring flyover, 3766 sets of LED armrest lights will be installed on the ramp this year, not only to ensure the lighting of the driver in the night, but also to produce the lighting effect at the same time. It is expected that the project will be completed by the end of the year.

The five is the renovation of lighting facilities in combination with road overhaul. In combination with the urban road overhaul plan, the reconstruction of the old lighting facilities for the corresponding roads will not be wasted because of the repeated excavation and construction. This year will involve 31 sets of street lamps, 1300 meters pipeline, and 700 meters Pipeline Transformation of Jiqing street and West Street in Changqing interchange and gooseneck Bay.
