Taiwan billion light will be put into LCD backlight LED module

It is reported that Taiwan, Everlight successfully developed a light emitting diode for LCD TV, LCD monitors and notebook computer and back light module (LED), will begin to provide samples before the end of 2004. The company is held in October 9, 2004 the end of the Japan Makuhari MESSE Convention Center "CEATEC JAPAN 2004" exhibition showcased the product. Each module are respectively equipped with 6 red, 6 blue chip LED LED chip and 5 chip LED. When all the chips emit white light, the luminous efficiency is 181m/W at 7W power. The maximum beam is 126lm. Each LED chip size of 1mm square, the use of high power products can be used for lighting equipment and headlights. The overall size is 20mm * 10mm * 4mm.
