Taiwan compulsory test LED bulb since July

Taiwan Inspection Bureau of standards announced today that the July LED lighting will implement the mandatory inspection, inspection and sale is verified, according to the law on penalty of NT $200 thousand and 2 million yuan fine. Standard Inspection Bureau said that since July 1st this year if Taiwan imports or production LED lighting goods without inspection that is listed on the sale and verified, will be in accordance with the provisions of article sixtieth of the Commodity Inspection Act, impose a fine of 200 thousand yuan more than NT $2 million below.

As for the July 1st manufactured or imported products, standard Inspection Bureau official pointed out that as long as the manufacturers to obtain related manufacturing documents before June 30th, not in July 1st to force listed in the scope of inspection management, can still be sold.
