Taiwan is expected to recover 4 LED bulbs with a rate of 25.8 yuan per kilogram

From January 1st next year, the Taiwan Environmental Protection Agency announced that 4 kinds of LED bulbs need to be reclaimed and the related rates were announced in October 27th. In order to comply with the trend of the Light Emitting Diode (LED lighting source) gradually replacing the traditional mercury lighting source, the environmental protection agency of the administrative Academy of Environmental Protection announced from January 1st next year that the direct tube type, the loop tube type, the Zang type in the shakeout and the compact LED lighting source must be recovered. The EPA today also claims to revise the cost rate for the recovery and removal of light sources and will come into force in January 1, 2017. The EPA said that by the end of the year until June 30, 2020, the recovery rate of 4 LED bulbs was 25.8 yuan per kilogram of NT $. From July 1, 2020, the rate of recovery was adjusted according to the recovery rate. The recovery rate was more than 90% and 25.8 yuan per kilogram; the recovery rate was less than 90% more than 80% and 23.9 yuan per kilogram; the recovery rate was less than 80%, and 22 yuan per kilogram. The EPA points out that the rate is determined by a comprehensive review of the cost of the recovery and removal of the LED lighting, the cost of the levy, the value of reuse, the impact on the environment, the financial situation of the fund and so on. In order to maintain the living environment, people, organizations and company lines are not allowed to discarve the waste lighting source and can be recycled through various kinds of pipes.
