Teijin DuPont films using white PEN (PolyethyleneNaphthalate, polynaphthalene two terephthalate) film "Teonex" succeeded in producing LED backlight with bottom plate. In particular, the film is sandwiched between 2 PEN films to be used as a substrate for the copper foil, and then the copper wiring is installed on the LED. LED can be used as a support substrate and reflective film. The company in the "FPDInternational2008" (from October 29th to 31, the Yokohama Exhibition Center) showed its prototype.
PEN film is characterized by high temperature and mechanical strength. The utility model has the advantages of supporting the reflow soldering resistance of about 260 DEG C, and in addition, the heat resistant temperature is about 180 DEG C for continuous use.
