The Japanese LCD glass substrate maker CRT glass will be discontinued

Japan LCD glass substrate maker Nippon electric (NEG) 30 said, in order to focus on a glass substrate and liquid crystal panel, the company factory in Japan will be the fastest at the end of September to stop the tube (CRT) glass production. The Nikkei 31 reported that Japan's NEG factory since the 2003 fiscal year (beginning in April 2003) has gradually cut tube glass, the current monthly production has been reduced to 2002 in the fiscal year of about 1/6; the North American plant last summer has been discontinued CRT glass, as Chinese and Malaysia plant will continue production.
