For the first time, Shaanxi province popularized low carbon environmental lighting technology in the expressway for the first time in the West. Recently, the project builders of Hanzhoung to Shaanxi Sichuan section are installing lights in the tunnel. This "Hanchuan project" has not used the high pressure sodium lamp used in the past, but chose a new LED lamp with energy saving and environmental protection.

Liu Yajun, deputy director of the Hanzhoung Construction Management Office of Shaanxi high speed group Bao Han company, said that we also introduced the intelligent control system of tunnel lighting, which automatically adjusts the switch of the tunnel lamps and lanterns according to the light difference of the tunnel, reducing the "black hole effect" and ensuring the comfort of the driving. After calculation, using the technology of LED light source, the operation cost of energy saving is about 50%.
