The U. S. Department of energy releases the overall LED lamp test requirements

The United States Department of energy (DOE) recently issued a federal bulletin on the testing program for the integrated LED lamp. The integrated LED lights that are required to enter the United States must be tested in a qualified laboratory in accordance with the requirements of this test program to obtain total light flux, input power, light efficiency, related color temperature, color rendering index, power factor, life and standby power. The statute entered into force in August 1, 2016 and was enforced in December 28, 2016. In accordance with the requirements of this regulation, the testing of the above parameters should be carried out in accordance with the standards of LM-79, LM-84, TM-28 and IEC6 2301 respectively. In addition, from August 1, 2016, DOE managed LED Lighting Facts stickers (color stickers) will suspend all new substitutes for Lamps submissions because of the new LEDLamps DOE test program: DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY 10 CFR Parts 429 430 2011 8 It comes into force on 1 July. Furthermore, DOE is about to formally publish a non integrated LEDLamps test program for non integrated LEDLamps. Any application to be submitted before August 1, 2016 will continue to be dealt with. The products that have already obtained the name of the DOE LED Lighting Facts are still kept in the network database Database. The LED Lighting Facts working group will further investigate and study the latest DOE regulations, and will immediately notify all partners once the final decision is made. DOE LED Lighting Facts will continue to accept the delivery of LED luminaires and refurbishment suites. DLC has also modified its requirements for LED Lighting Facts, which will no longer require the LM-79 data submitted to the bare tube to LED Lighting Facts since August 1, 2016. Please note that DLC will continue to accept the application for the certification of the lamp. This change does not affect the LEDLightingFacts requirements of DLC for other categories of products. The DOE LED Lighting Facts: DOE LED Lighting Facts is the voluntary energy efficiency label certification project of the U.S. Department of energy DOE for LEDSSL solid-state ordinary lighting products (including integrated LED bulbs, non integrated LED bulbs, lamps, refurbishment suites). Through this project, LED manufacturers can submit samples in the authorized laboratory based on IESNALM-79-08 and other industrial standards, and then submit reports to obtain DOE LED Lighting Facts names, thus showing their excellent product performance. In North America the latest standard Express - UL 1993 standard update, with the increasing number of new products such as LED lamp (TypeA/B/C), LED filament lamp, LED module and other new products, UL has updated the standard related technical requirements according to new products and new technologies. LED light source products UL certification of the latest requirements and the UL 1993 standards update dynamic, the following:
